About the Competition
The Tech Innovation Challenge is a hackathon designed to empower young people (especially undergraduate students) by providing them a platform to solve real-world problems through coding and technology. Participants will develop innovative solutions in areas such as fintech, healthtech, edtech, agritech, and AI, competing for cash prizes, internships, and startup funding.

Participants register individually or in teams (maximum of 4 members per team).
After registration, Participants are expected to search for data samples (no less than 1,000 rows) from sites such as kaggle.com, and then proceed to run statiscal data analysis.
Submitted proposals must contain the problem, the objective, alongside the graphical and statistical outputs of the data analysis using python or R.
The submission of the proposal must be accompanied by a README.txt file containing the python or R script for the data analysis.
Submission deadline is Monday 30th June 2025
Judges will shortlist the Top 50 teams based on innovation, feasibility, and impact. Combining both Python and R is an added advantage.
The Top 10 best submissions will be selected to compete in a 48 hour analysis of a real-life data.
The Winner will receive NGN 200,000 cash. The Winner and the next 3 best submissions will get an opportunity to participate in 3 months internship.
