About Ukwuru Science

June, Edmund Ukwuru started providing research writing materials and guidance for his peers to enable them write their industrial training report and coursework effectively.

 

He noticed a gap in the level of attention given to research writing in Nigerian tertiary education and how difficult it was for final year students to undertake research related coursework. This was the beginning of Elsa-Solutions Limited.

July, Edmund and his friend Kelvin Unande (MD) had successfully provided guidance to over 100 industrial training reports for their peers.

​

August, research guidance services were carried out for fifteen (15) students of a Nursing school at Makurdi, Benue state. 

​

November, Together with a number of volunteer individuals they supported and trained 150+ seminar students

March, Elsa-Solutions Limited was registered officially.

The business of research training was carried out officially under the name Elsa-Solutions in that time to enable successful consolidation of research writing skills among the writing team at Elsa-Solutions Limited and guidance services were provided until the start of the COVID-19 lockdown which stalled operations significantly.

January, Research services at Elsa-Solutions Limited resumed.

 

April, Research training services were extended across other schools starting with South East, South West and Central Nigeria. Encompassing both private and Public Universities.

The main focus of research  at Elsa-Solutions Limited (2019 - 2021) were in the areas of Research Seminar, Literature reviews, Research proposal writing, Undergraduate Research Projects and Data/Statistical Analysis (Chi Square, Student T-test and Analysis of variance) specifically for all categories of students.

​

Free training services were offered in these areas to enable students grapple with the knowledge which was not provided extensively in class.

December, we had successfully provided over 200 seminar guidance and literature reviews with a record of 300 undergraduate research projects.

Our free training service had been beneficial to 2000+ Microbiology students across twelve (12) schools in Nigeria with two (2) sessions between them.

February, the need for a trading name emerged for the purposes of disambiguation and specificity from other services provided by Elsa-Solutions Limited.

March, Ukwuru Science emerged as the official trading name to cover the expanding services in the areas of the Microbial sciences, life sciences and health sciences.

Services were expanded to include other areas of Scientific research (Systematic reviews, Meta Analysis, Dissertation writing) and Scientific experimental/practical research.

April, Our services were expanded to encompass students in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Malaysia, and Australia.

June, ukwuruscience.com was officially developed to make for ease of access to all services provided by Ukwuru Science. As our services are in the areas of Microbial science, life science and health sciences, our primary aim is to advance knowledge in these areas for all levels of students in tertiary education.

Efforts are in place to provide certification courses in these areas at Ukwuru Science Academy.

July, Research in the Social Sciences was introduced. Areas such as Business Administration, Accounting, Leadership and Management were also introduced. 

Research Endeavous were expanded through consolidation on major skill areas.

November, First in-house research was carried out at a University Teaching Hospital in South-South Nigeria.

May, Further Disambiguition was introduced by Registrering Ukwuru Dynamics Limited. This move completely separated the academic objectives of Ukwuru Science from Elsa-Solutions Limited. Emphasis was shifted towards in-house research, and establishing as a Publishing business as well.

June, Second in-house research was initiated at a community hospital in South-West Nigeria.

​

September, Preprint versions of the first in-house researchers were made available onliine ahead of indexing. This occurred simultaneously with the development of journals.
